Yahoo’s British subsidiary has been fined GBP250,000 by the UK’s data privacy watchdog, the ICO, for a security breach in 2014 that went unreported until 2016. The breach impacted 500 million
customers worldwide, but Sky News reports that in the UK 500,000 customers were affected.
